How calculation and content issues should be documented and corrected.
Document the issue
When reporting an issue, include the calculator mode, inputs, expected result, and observed result. A shared calculation link can make a problem reproducible; avoid including personal financial information.
Review and repair
Calculation corrections should include a reproducible test, an explanation of changed behavior, and an update to the methodology where relevant. Material corrections should be recorded in the project change history.
